About Happyfish
In 2006, after many years of experience with both hardware and software, Happyfish was founded by Bas van Dijk. Since there was an high demand for webdesign Bas decided to turn his hobby into his profession.

Bas enjoyed a diverse IT-related education:
- MBO, Technical Office Informatics
- BICT Informatics, (accelerated program)
- University, Master Computer Science (graduation planned for 2011)
Besides years of training, hands-on experience has become an important source of knowledge.
Happyfish?
A lot of people ask about the origin of the name Happyfish. The name was invented during a project for Bas' BICT study. Bas had the task to think about a teamname as well as designing a logo. From this task the name Happyfish was born. Finally this name was picked for Bas' company. After some time the slogan "Like a fish in the sea of IT..." was added.
